History

Moriarty & Associates was founded in 1998 by John Moriarty. He was later joined by Ethan Baldwin and Hilario Diaz as Executive Officers. With considerable military, intelligence, and private industry experience among them, this group determined to set a new standard for IT performance and efficiency.

Collectively, they recognized the need for a more agile and responsive IT service group: a results-oriented firm with the ability to think in unconventional ways and build a reputation based on performance. Military and intelligence technology projects had begun to require the capabilities of smaller firms that understood the dynamics and nuances of their own unique environments.

Moriarty & Associates has pursued a growth policy preferring quality over quantity of personnel. It currently maintains a staff of over 40 professionals. The company has begun expansion into private sector IT services, and it expects its staff to grow substantially during 2023-2025.

Capabilities

Our capabilities are defined by an extraordinary range and depth of knowledge and skills in critical IT disciplines. We provide a decisive advantage to our customers through our combination of superior personnel having key academic and field credentials, and our thorough understanding of your business processes. This simplifies your calculation of the "total cost of the business relationship."

An essential component of our capabilities is the high priority we assign to building relationships with each and every contract and customer; possessing the technical expertise is simply not enough. Unlike larger companies, Moriarty & Associates is agile and able to respond quickly to customer requirements. We recognize and subscribe fully to the ideal that quality and performance are maximized when technical and professional assets are coupled with an ability and desire to truly understand and communicate with each customer.

Ethics & Conduct

Moriarty & Associates' continued growth, profitability, and prosperity are linked to our employees' ability to make decisions that are consistent with our business values and core ethical principles. By embedding these values and principles into our policies and practices, we have established an ethical business culture fully embraced by our employees, and it shows in the way we do business.

This dictum applies equally to all Moriarty and Associates employees-including our officers-members of the Board of Directors, agents, consultants, contract labor, and all others when they are representing or acting on behalf of the company.

Our Team

We hire and retain only carefully selected team-oriented professionals. Most of our team members are cleared, and many have prior military backgrounds. Without exception, all Moriarty & Associates team members are equally effective and comfortable in either private industry, military, or intelligence environments. These experts are assigned to both in-house domestic locations and overseas deployments, as required.

Moriarty & Associates selects employees based on stringent criteria. Integrity, good moral judgment, a strong professional background, resourcefulness, and communication skills are among the assets we require and value most. Reaching far beyond their own individual disciplines, Moriarty & Associates employees have a thorough understanding of the entire IT landscape and leverage that broad knowledge to ensure the company's commitment of "On Time. On Budget. On Target."
